On classic Kawasaki dual-sports like the KLR650 or nakeds like the GT550 and many more, the fuel tank rests directly on rubber damper cushions (OEM Part 92075-101) mounted to the frame’s upper backbone pins. Because these factory rubber pads are only held in place by friction, they routinely loosen over time. They frequently slip off unnoticed during routine maintenance when the fuel tank is pulled up, leaving the tank to vibrate directly against the steel frame. Missing dampers cause irritating engine buzz, tank misalignment, and can eventually rub a hole right through the fuel cell.

At R3print Moto, we produce this flexible replacement fuel tank damper. Printed using TPU, it provides the perfect balance of rubber-like compressibility and toughness. It stretches tightly over the stock frame pins for a secure friction fit that stays put, effectively isolating your fuel tank from harsh engine harmonics and trail chatter.
