On first-generation Kawasaki KLR650 models (1987–2007), the side fairings utilize an integrated inner mesh grill directly in front of the radiator. This screen is vital for channeling high-velocity airflow while deflecting branches, rocks and trail debris kicked up by the front tire. However, after decades of exposure to engine heat, solar UV rays and trail riding, the factory plastic mesh can easily break. Thereby leaving your delicate aluminum radiator core exposed and ruining the bike’s aesthetics. Until now, if your mesh broke you were required to buy a complete, expensive outer radiator shroud panel (partnumber: 49089-5027-6B) just to get a fresh screen or fabricate something yourself.

At R3print Moto, we produce this standalone, replacement radiator shroud mesh. Instead of hunting down rare or discontinued vintage bodywork, this engineered insert allows you to simply remove your old, broken mesh and install a rugged new guard into your existing fairing panel. It is produced from high-grade ASA, a material chosen specifically for its automotive-grade UV stability, excellent heat resistance right next to the cooling system and impact protection against stones or road debris.
