Complete chain slider set for the Honda XL250R in one package. This kit includes both the upper chain slider (52170-MC4-000) and the lower chain slipper (52155-KB7-000).

When restoring or maintaining a vintage XL250R, the drive-side protection is often the most overlooked and most critical component. If these parts are missing or perished, your chain will quickly grind through the aluminum swingarm. Because both the upper and lower components are NLA (No Longer Available), finding a complete solution is often impossible.

What’s Included in the Kit:

  1. Upper Chain Slider (52170-MC4-000): The primary wrap-around slider for the front of the swingarm pivot. The upper chain slider is engineered from TPU, providing a significant upgrade over the original factory rubber. This material offers the high-speed abrasion resistance needed for the chain path while providing the impact dampening required to eliminate “chain slap” noise.

  2. Lower Chain Slipper (52155-KB7-000): The underside protection that maintains chain tension and prevents upward wear into the swingarm. The lower chain slider is made from carbon reinforced nylon for extreme rigidity and abrasion resistance where the chain tension is highest.
